Tilda's Farewell

Mint Photography was invited to Tilda's farewell party on Friday 27th January. Tilda will be joining her older sisters at boarding school in Victoria. She had close family and friends at the "Jungle" themed party in Bondi. Check out the cup cakes, they were amazing!

I had such a lovely time photographing this gorgeous couple. Trish and Joel are expecting their first baby in a week!

Using Trish's Contax 645 Medium format film camera, I was able to capture the subtleness of the beautiful afternoon light.

Mint Photography first met Barry and Ana back in November 2009. From there I have had the pleasure of working with this beautiful couple for their engagement session, their wedding in November 2010 and their "trash the dress" photo shoot in Vaucluse after the big day.

The bridal party was so much fun to work with...I really enjoyed our time on location!

Friday 18th March 2011 - Palm Beach

Mint Photography had the absolute pleasure of being part of Cath and Blyth's wedding day in Palm Beach.

I felt so relaxed from the moment I walked into the stunning home where Cath was getting ready. Laughs and more laughs were heard throughout the home. Kookaburra's perched on the deck as if they were part of the guest list!

Cath wore a gorgeous off white fitted dress with beaded lace. The broach from Sarah Divine Bridal couture, Mosman.

Such a beautiful simple bouquet of daisies created by Sweat Pea Floral Designs in Bellevue Hill.

Janaya, (Cath's bridesmaid) wore a strapless raw silk mini dress in citrus yellow, by Nicola Finetti.

Dunes at Palm beach hosted an amazing reception! A 4 tier cheese wheel cake decorated with fresh figs was designed and constructed by Cath!

"Smudge" appeared on every table displaying the table number and Cath and Blyth put a dress up accessory on every chair, what a fun theme for the guests!

Europe 2010

Stephen and I landed in Paris on the 5th August , 24 degrees outside....it was so exciting! I have never been to Paris before, armed with my Canon EOS 3 film camera and 50mm lens, I documented everything I saw.

We noticed all of these locks on the pedestrian bridge, they had names and dates inscribed to declare eternal love for one another....so romantic.

I loved this shop window display.

We hired a Mini and drove from Paris all the way to Croatia......what a journey...via the Swiss Alps, Monte Blanc , across northern Italy where we had a brief night in Verona before making our the down the Adriatic Coast. It was breathtaking.

'vase' with three old bottles and some garden twine... the

little "I'm Yours" tag has a mini wooden peg holding it to the jonquil stem.

Balloons make children happy! I ordered some for Mason's birthday from a lovely family company in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and they were delivered that same day with a smile. Mint Photography loves to be part of children's birthday parties!

Mint Photography attended Ann & Jason's wedding in Marion Bay, South Australia. The landscape was just so remote and so inspiring , making it a very special ceremony. Ann and Jason decided to exchange their vows on Dolphin Beach, in Innes National Park, as the sun was slowly declining into a warm glow .

Ann designed her head piece, which was made by Lil Jen just covering some of her face...very elegant. Her wedding dress was discovered in a beautiful boutique in Paddington, Sydney called Paris , in Glenmore Rd.

Everything just fell into place when we were decorating the studio! I am a huge fan of Bronte Tram , where we found the beautiful sideboard. The 1960's inspired 3 seater sofa is gorgeous . I love this space !
